Hot amateur fighter, Regis Prograis, advanced to the Texas State Golden Gloves at 152lbs. He beat the favorite Rogelio de La Torre in an all action semi-final. Prograis was voted The Outstanding Boxer at the 2010 Houston Golden Gloves.
