WBA #1, WBC #6 and WBO #7 rated welterweight Brad "King" Solomon (17-0, 7 KOs) outboxed and out-landed the lethargic Demetrius Hopkins (30-2-1, 11 KOs) over ten rounds on Friday night at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Solomon used his unorthodox, Roy Jones-esque stance to confuse and befuddle Hopkins. He consistently outworked and out-hustled Hopkins round after round. Hopkins' corner showed the signs of frustration as the their instructions fell on the deaf ears of Hopkins. Hopkins tried to make adjustments in the fight, but couldn't find the right game-plan to stop Solomon from sweeping rounds. Scores were 97-93, 99-91, 99-91, all for Solomon.

Cedric “The Bos” Boswell (34-1, 26 KOs) scored a unanimous decision victory over former WBC world heavyweight champion Oliver “The Atomic Bull” McCall (55-11, 37 KOs). Boswell scored often with lead left hooks and one-two combinations to pile up an insurmountable lead over McCall. Judges scorecards were 99-91, 99-92 and 98-92 for The “Bos”, who now owns the NABA, IBF Intercontinental and WBC Latino heavyweight belts.
