"Irish" Joey McCreedy threw out the ceremonial first pitch last Friday night at a minor league baseball game between the Lowell Spinners, the rookie Class A affliate of the Boston Red Sox, and Connecticut Tigers at LeLacheur Park in Lowell (MA). New England and EBA super middleweight champion McCreedy (11-4-2, 6 KOs), who lives in Lowell, takes on former U. of Rhode Island football player Vladine Biosse (6-0, 4 KOs) in the 8-round co-feature on ESPN Friday Night Fights, live from Twin River Event Center (Lincoln, RI).
